For 40 years, ABC Head Start Society has been helping children build brighter futures.

Many of the children we serve are neurodivergent—facing challenges with speech and language, learning, or behavior. Without early intervention, these children often begin kindergarten already behind, with limited supports available to help them catch up. Our inclusive, play-based early learning programs are designed to change that—fostering confidence, connection, and growth during the most critical years of development.

Children receive free access to a skilled interdisciplinary team that includes certificated teachers, educational assistants, speech-language pathologists, and behavior specialists. This team works together to meet each child’s unique needs and ensure they’re supported every step of the way.

But we don’t just support the child—we walk alongside the whole family. Our Family Engagement team offers parenting workshops, mental health resources, and personalized guidance to help families build resilience and stability. From food security to financial literacy and peer support, we help families navigate life’s challenges with compassion and care. Some children may also receive one-on-one learning support beyond the classroom, with parents actively involved in reinforcing strategies at home.

Because when we support both the child and the caregiver, we create the conditions for lasting change.
